Baisakhi, one of the harvest festivals, will be celebrated on April 14th. Baisakhi, which commemorates the beginning of the Punjabi New Year, is celebrated on the first day of Baisakh (the first month of the Hindu calendar). It also marks the harvest time of Rabi, the winter crop. For the Sikh community, the day also marks the formation of the Khalsa. On this day, people dress up in hues of yellow and orange.
